The Role:
In this role as a Desktop Level 2 Support Officer you will be responsible for providing end to end support including development and maintenance of the organisation’s desktop, server and network infrastructure.
They are looking for a “go do” technical engineer who loves to be challenged, works well in a team environment and is looking to grow their IT career in an organisation that wants you to succeed. It is an expectation that the ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and will do what it takes to ensure the organisation receives timely IT support.
Skills & Experience required:
- 2 -3 years of IT support experience (at preferably level 2)
- Good customer service skills
- Good all round IT skills for the level, it is not expected that the candidate performs network communications changes or complex server based administration.
- The candidate must be familiar with Windows XP and Windows 7, printers, fax machines, IP telephones, scanners, and audio visual equipment including Polycom conferencing phones.
- The Candidate must be willing to work outside of normal business hours at times
- The Candidate must also be self motivated, mature and able to handle pressure and at times stress, be able to prioritize business demands successfully to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- The Candidate will need to log and update tickets not only for Sydney based clients but also Melbourne and Brisbane and will be working as part of an interstate team delivering IT services
