A number of my clients at the moment are in urgent demand of Geological Database Administrators. This is a result of an influence in confidence of the mining market in WA at the moment and resource geology experts are in high demand.
My clients include consultancies and mining operators who are searching for Geological Database Administrators.
You will have:
- At least a Bachelors degree
- Experience with GBIS, MapInfo, Vulcan and Micromine
- Strong organizational, technical and communication skills
- A few years of post graduate experience in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, create and implement databases
- transfer geological data into the GBIS database
- Script and query writing
- General geology administration duties when required.
You will be well rewarded for your skills and experiences in this field and will be a part of some exciting and well known projects in Western Australia. You can be offered either FIFO rosters or permanent Perth based positions.
