Our client is an internationally renowned consulting group that specialises in ground engineering, design, construction and environmental consulting services. They provided services to the mining, oil and gas, infrastructure and urban development sectors worldwide.
Due to business growth, we are seeking to appoint a Principal / Senior Environmental Scientist / Engineer who specialises in Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA).
Your responsibilities will include but is not limited to:
- Conducting and managing ESIA for major resource and infrastructure developments
- Provide technical environmental advice and regulatory liaison within the mining and industrial projects
- Develop and maintain existing clients and actively pursue new business opportunities
- Provide leadership in technical elements of a project and management of project teams.
Ideally you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or similar
- At least 10 years experience in a mining or consulting environmental role
- Strong knowledge of the WA approvals process and legislation
- Specialist in Environmental and Social Impact Assessments
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
- Client management and business development skills.
