Our client is a well respected project management firm that provides specialist services to the telecommunications industry. Due to their outstanding track record in delivering successful projects to their impressive clientele they have an unprecedented amount of rollouts to deliver for Australia’s major telecommunications carriers in 2011.
Based in Melbourne CBD and reporting to the National Project Manager, you will be heavily involved in Project Managing the design and delivery of mobile base stations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing cost budgets, timelines, OH&S, environmental and quality goals. You will ensure site design and construction meets specific technical specifications as required by the client as well as managing sub contractors.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years local experience in a Project Engineering/Management position in Design & Construction of heavy infrastructure, ideally in structural steel and reinforced concrete. You will be degree qualified in either civil or structural engineering.
You will ideally have telecommunications experience and a track record of managing projects in Australia.
