The Client
Our client is an iron ore export operation in the Pilbra regions of Western Australia that was established in 2005. Our client controls iron ore rights to one of the largest portfolios across the Pilbara.
The Role
The role is for an ICT project manager required to plan, execute and finalise projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, this includes project definition, resource planning, RFP / tenders, vendor liaison and stakeholder management in order to deliver projects according to plan.
The Project Manager will also contribute to the frequent development of the project management process and maturity.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification or relevant experience
- 5+ years experience in managing ICT projects (Scope, Schedule, Cost, Risk & Issue, Resource, Quality, Change and Integration Management)
- Ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders and manage expectations
- Understanding of PM Methodologies (e.g. Prince2, PMBOK etc)
- Excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to effectively manage change and resistance
- You will have the ability to deliver complex ICT Applications & Infrastructure Projects across the business.
- Have experience in managing ICT Projects including the various areas of ICT Project Management such as Scope, Schedule, Cost, Risk & Issue, Resource, Quality, Change and Integration Management
