Client:
Our client is an internationally renowned EPCM who provide specialized engineering & project management solutions to the resources industry. Currently involved in significant $500 mil + EPCM minerals processing projects across iron ore, copper & diamond they now require a Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems to join the Perth team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 - 10 years plus experience as a Electrical Engineer with formal engineering qualifications
- Strong mining experience essential. Previous EPCM experience a strong advantage
- Strong leadership capabilities and excellent team skills
- Excellent reporting skills and knowledge of relevant design standards
A track record in the following aspects of Electrical Engineering
- Power Generation engineering including utilizing large Diesel generators as applied to mining type projects with generation up to 100 MW.
- LV + HV networks and switchgear up to 33kV. Up to 132kV a key advantage
- Transformer sizing & cable sizing and selection calculations
- Power/protection studies using ETAP or similar
- Ability to deliver to the CAD designers conceptual Single Line and Schematic Drawings
