Geology Superintendent
Superintendent needed to lead a team of 15+ Geologists’ you will be managing the responsibilities of the team and providing critical business information to the mine planning and production divisions. Reporting directly to the Mine Manager.
Your main responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Management of Geology Department
- Maintenance of short-term (operational) open-cut geological model and integration of mine site geology from open-cut areas
- Reconciliation of mined blocks for model validation purposes
- Training of mining personnel in geological issues on site
- Resource modeling
- Structure modeling
The team will be responsible for assuring minimal ore dilution in the mine production process and optimizing ore recovery.
